FAQ's

1. Do I need reservations?
To assure a place for your pet it is best to call well in advance. Even though we service a large number of pets at any one time, we do have to turn some disappointed vacationers away. Consider calling us 6 weeks in advance of holiday vacations to make arrangements. We will send a confirmation letter via U.S. postal mail after receiving your reservation. Email reservations are accepted as well as phone reservations.

2. Do I bring my pet's own food?
You may if your dog is on a special diet or really is a picky eater but normally we provide for your pet's needs. See our note on feeding at the kennel!

3. Shall I bring my pet's bed?
We suggest something old, something worn, but not something dear. An old blanket or carpet square will be enjoyed by your pet over the concrete. Do try to keep it simple.

4. May I bring my pet some treats and toys?
Sure...label the treats with names. Be aware! Real bones are not allowed.

5. What if my dog needs medication?
We will gladly administer most medications at no extra charge to you. We really are good at this. Be sure we know the dosages and times when the meds are to be given to your pet.

6. What if my pet becomes sick?
We rely upon our knowledge of pet illnesses and do have quick access to veterinary hospitals at any time. In emergencies your pet will be removed to such a facility for treatment. Expenses for such treatment are your responsibility. We certainly try to use your vet if at all possible.

7. Are the dogs walked?
For security, dogs are not walked. Dogs receive ample exercise in  enclosures.

8. Do I bring litter with my cat?
Nope..that's our responsibility.

9. What if my pet doesn't eat?
Sometimes pets mope and feel sorry for themselves. We monitor the picky eaters and most times are successful in building up their appetites.

10. Why is the kennel only open during certain hours?
Easy ...... we have a life that needs to be attended to away from the kennel too. Specific hours also allow us to perform necessary cleaning, bookings, and maintenance uninterrupted. Our full attention remains on the task we need to accomplish to keep your pet happy and healthy.
